Quartz Crystal Cluster
Size: 13.5 x 8.0 x 5.4 cm; Weight: Approx. 301 grams unpackaged
This specimen was collected from the Sichuan Province, Peoples Republic of China.
Whichever way you turn this piece there is something new and amazing to see!
This lovely cluster has the familiar, extremely fine, clear Quartz points, in spray formations which in some instances appear almost flower - like.
From another angle, this piece has crystals which seem to lie almost flat, either side of a seam in the rock, some of the points so tiny they look as if they are sprouting from the ground, like new seedlings.
And yet, from another angle, you can see the flat, glassy glitter of crystal regrowth and rehealing. Many of the crystal points on this piece have a frost like coating - they are quite spectacular!
This is a great piece with a heap of interesting formations. A definite must for the crystal collector!
Quartz (named after a Slavic word for "hard") is the most common mineral found on the surface of the Earth. A significant component of many igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, this natural form of silicon dioxide is found in an impressive range of varieties and colours.
From a healing/metaphysical perspective, Quartz is a Master Healer and one of the most widely used of the healing crystals. Quartz, when placed with other crystals, has an enhancement role, emphasizing their energies and effectiveness.
